friends, family and neighbors are remembering a woman said to be Gaza's oldest Christian music teacher after she was shot by Israeli soldiers and left to die outside her home amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, her family said.
Elham Farah, 84, was a godly and gregarious figure from Gaza's small Christian community who touched many lives with her infectious energy before she was killed Sunday, according to loved ones.
"She was feisty and alive and she always wanted to be connected with others," Hammam Farah, a nephew who lives in Canada and is speaking as a representative of her family, told The Messenger. >>Read More
