The star of Bethlehem award

Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb received the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA) Rings of Tolerance award on Wednesday, November 15th in Cologne, Germany for his contribution to a world based on justice, peace, and tolerance.

Olaf Palme Prize for “his innovative artistic education in film, art, and drama, Raheb has made it possible for young people to investigate their Palestinian identity, to nurture beauty, and to invest in a culture of life as tools for a creative resistance against suffocating confinement and towards nation building.”

Deutscher Medienpreis (German Media Award) “ for the tireless work in creating room for hope for people living under Israeli Occupation, through founding and building institutions of excellence in education, culture and health.”

The Bethlehem Governor Award "for serving the Bethlehem Community and Governorate.

The Lux Mundo Award by the Board of Regents of Concordia University Wisconsin “for the admirable Community and Humanitarian Service.”

The LEA Esther Award "for the contribution to Lutheran Education.” - 2011
